About 1794-PS13

The Allen-Bradley 1794-PS13 is a FLEX I/O DC power supply module. It has the capacity to provide enough 24 Volts DC power for 4 adapter modules. Note that it cannot support an entire FLEX I/O system, however. The 1794-PS13 module's output will stay within specifications, then the input will drop out for 1/2 cycle at 47 Hertz, 85 Volts AC (with the maximum load). It comes with an overcurrent protection of 1.4 Amps. The overvoltage protection of the 1794-PS13 module is internally limited to 40 Volts DC for the output. Cycle the power if the module needs to be reenergized.

The 1794-PS13 comes with a power indicator that turns green when it is on and the output voltage is greater than 20.4 Volts DC but less than 28 Volts DC. This indicator does not light up when turned off. The entire module measures 3.4 x 2.7 x 2.7 inches and it has an open-type enclosure. Isolation between the AC input terminals and DC output terminals are required for this module and the isolation voltage requirement is 2500 Volts DC for 1 seconds.

The nominal output of this module is +24 Volts DC and its output voltage regulation is 20.4 to 27.6 Volts DC, +/- 15% including noise and the 5% AC ripple. The module's output power is 31.2 W, the maximum output ripple is +/-5% 1200 mV peak-to-peak, and the maximum output current is 1.3 Amps. Its power dissipation is 7 W and thermal dissipation is 23.9 BTU/hour. The 1794-PS13’s operating temperature of 0 to 55 degrees Celsius and its storage temperature is -40 to 85 degrees Celsius, as well as a relative humidity of 5 to 95% (non-condensing). The module also has an operating vibration of 5 g at 10 to 100 Hertz, an operating shock of 30 g, and a non-operating shock of 50 g.
