The 440G-TZS21UPLH Switch is a guard locking switch manufactured by Allen-Bradley as part of the Guardmaster TLS-ZR-GD2 product line. These switches are designed to provide high tech, guard locking safety interlock solutions. The 440G-TZS21UPLH Switch operates on a supply voltage of 24 Volts DC, it comes with 1 PNP auxiliary contact and 2 PNP safety contacts. The Allen-Bradley 440G-TZS21UPLH Guard Locking Switch is intended for use as part of a guard locking system and it helps the system to achieve the required performance level. It features mechanical configuration, and it looks similar to existing switches except that it includes some extra RFID door targets. This guard locking switch is easy to mount with a fully flexible actuator. It comes with integral microprocessor technology as well as 2 OSSD solid-state outputs. The locking and unlocking mechanism works through the logic-level signal input.
The Allen-Bradley 440G-TZS21UPLH Guard Locking Switch and the entire Guardmaster TLS-ZR-GD2 product family features an RFID door target which has a unique code and offers internal microprocessor information and additional information on the door position. This means that in case there is a missing or broken actuator key, the microprocessor shuts the OSSD safety outputs down. Every switch features semiconductor OSSD safety outputs which can be connected in a series with other safety components which also have the OSSD solid-state outputs, such as the Sensa Guard range of contactless switches. There is also a stainless steel actuator guide that is designed to prevent damage to the actuator that may be caused by guard wear or poor guard alignment.
