The 100-D115ZJ11L Bulletin 100-D large-frame IEC contactor from Allen-Bradley is designed for high current load applications. The 100-D115ZJ11L contactor has a rated carrying current capacity of 115 Amps at 400 Volts AC (AC-3) and 250 Amps at 690 Volts AC (AC-1). Only a 3-phase AC power source can be wired to the 100-D115ZJ11L contactor. It has an acceptable input voltage range between 115 Volts AC and 575 Volts AC (at 50 to 60 Hertz line frequency range). The 100-D115ZJ11L contactor is rated for high thermal and electrical ratings, and it can be operated at a voltage rating of up to 1000 Volts AC per the IEC standards. The 100-D115ZJ11L contactor is rated for 75 Horsepower at 460 Volts AC and 100 Horsepower at 575 Volts AC. The 100-D115ZJ11L contactor does not support DIN Rail mounting, however, it can be mounted on an installation panel within a control cabinet. It has flat-type bolt conductor terminals that allow for quick and easy field-side wiring.

The Allen-Bradley 100-D115ZJ11L Bulletin 100-D large-frame IEC contactor is also supplied with terminal lugs (factory-supplied for use on the conductor end), installation screws, and washers for easy terminal wiring. The 100-D115ZJ11L contactor comes as a completely assembled contactor unit and it requires no additional components for use in any electrical applications. It has an electro-magnetic (conventional) DC-controlled coil for switching contacts. This coil has a low switching voltage rating of 24 Volts DC, and it comes with Class B insulation for additional protection. The 100-D115ZJ11L contactor’s coil also has a built-in surge suppression circuit to protect itself against high voltage spikes. Optional MOVs and RC snubber circuits can be ordered to protect the contactor against transient voltage.
