The 100-D140EA22 Bulletin 100-D contactor is an MCS non-reversing IEC contactor developed by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. It is a 3-phase non-reversing contactor with a solid and compact construction that is ideal for use in heavy-duty industrial applications. At an ambient temperature of 60 degrees Celsius, the 100-D140EA22 contactor has an AC-3 operating current rating of 140 Amps. At 40 degrees Celsius, the 100-D140EA22 non-reversing contactor has an AC-1 utilization category current rating of 250 Amps. This Allen-Bradley non-reversing contactor is equipped with an electronic coil (coil voltage code "EA"). The AC control voltage range of the coil is 208 Volts AC to 277 Volts AC at 50 to 60 Hertz frequency. In addition, the coil has an integrated electronic interface or EI for advanced control.

The auxiliary contacts are 2 normally open and 2 normally closed contacts. Additional auxiliary contacts can be provided by adding optional auxiliary contact blocks which are available as add-on accessories for this contactor model. The integrated electronic interface on the coil has a nominal voltage rating of 24 Volts DC and a rated current of 15 milliamps. This non-reversing DC contactor has output power ratings of 47 kilowatts at 240 Volts, 78 kilowatts at 400 Volts, and 111 kilowatts at 690 Volts for switching 3-phase motors at 60 degrees Celsius. The 100-D140EA22 non-reversing contactor has screw terminal (thru-hole) connection terminals. As per the UL/CSA specifications, the main contacts have a conductor size of 6 to 300 MCM and a tightening torque of 22 N-m.
