The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 100-D140EZY11 contactor is a non-reversing, 3-pole, DC contactor that is available from the Bulletin 100-D subseries of the Allen-Bradley IEC 100 Contactors series. The 100-D140EZY11 contactor cannot reverse an AC motor’s voltage flow, but it can operate at different kilowatt and Horsepower output ratings with AC motors that have different operating voltage ratings. It also has 2 auxiliary contacts that are built into it on its sides in addition to the 3 standard main contacts that are built into it on its top panel. One of the 100-D140EZY11 contactor’s built-in auxiliary contacts is normally closed while the other one is normally open. If the 100-D140EZY11 contactor needs more auxiliary contacts, additional normally closed and normally open auxiliary contacts can be added on through contact blocks.

In addition to adding more auxiliary contacts to the Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation Bulletin 100-D series 100-D140EZY11 non-reversing contactor, the auxiliary contact blocks can also increase the contactor’s protection rating. The 100-D140EZY11 contactor is designed so that the users cannot injure their hands or fingers by accidentally touching any of the dangerous components inside the contactor, but it only has an IP 00 protection rating against dust and moisture. The auxiliary contact blocks that are compatible with the 100-D140EZY11 contactor can give it an IP 20 protection rating, and contactor covers can add an IP 10 protection rating. This contactor can have its main contacts replaced if they are damaged or worn out, which means that the whole contactor does not need to be disposed of when the contacts no longer work and which reduces waste. The 100-D140EZY11 contactor supports an electronic coil with an electronic interface and a voltage range of 48 to 72 Volts DC.
