The Allen-Bradley 100-D140G11 Bulletin 100-D IEC compact contactor is designed for large-frame applications. By design, the 100-D140G11 contactor is considerably more compact than other contactors in its class to save panel space. These features of the 100-D140G11 contactor, combined with an Allen-Bradley Bulletin 193 overload relay, provide a compact and flexible motor starter structure that meets the demands of modern motion control systems. The 100-D140G11 contactor is built to meet several worldwide industrial standards (IEC, CSA, and UL), and it is CE, and c-UL-us certified. The 100-D140G11 contactor has an eco-friendly design that is in compliance with the RoHS directive. The 100-D140G11 contactor is supplied with a conventional electromagnetic coil type that is responsible for energizing and de-energizing the contacts. This coil has a voltage rating of 440 Volts AC at 50 Hertz and it can be wired to a power source via 2 coil terminals labelled A1 and A2.
The Allen-Bradley 100-D140G11 Bulletin 100-D contactor’s coil does not have a PLC interface. However, it comes with a factory-installed surge suppression feature that protects the contactor and the coil from high voltage spikes. The 100-D140G11 contactor has 3 main contacts (3 normally open contacts) labelled L1 through L3 for wiring directly to a 3-phase AC power source. It supports voltage inputs from 115 Volts AC up to 575 Volts AC. The 100-D140G11 contactor also supports a motor voltage rating of up to 1000 Volts AC (according to the IEC standard). The 100-D140G11 contactor has an AC-3 duty rating of 82 kilowatts and a carrying current rating of 140 Amps. The 100-D140G11 contactor is supplied with installation screws and ring lugs as standard features. It is also supplied with 2 snap-in type auxiliary contacts (1 NC and 1 NO) for feedback wiring. The 100-D140G11 contactor is enclosed with an IP 20 rated enclosure and it has a rated operating temperature range of -25 to 60 degrees Celsius.
