However, Allen-Bradley provides both AC and DC coils that can be ordered separately. Furthermore, both the AC and DC coils can be ordered for this contactor and for a wide range of coil voltage ratings. The available range of DC coil voltages is from 24 to 255 Volts DC. The available range of AC coil voltages is from 24 to 500 Volts AC. The 100-D140XX00-EI contactor does not have auxiliary contacts. Accessories for the Bulletin 100-D contactors include surge suppressors, terminal shields, terminal covers, and IP 20-rated terminal blocks. The Allen-Bradley 100-D140XX00-EI Bulletin 100-D contactor is a high-power, high-current, and high-voltage device. Therefore it must be commissioned and maintained by qualified technicians only. The 100-D140XX00-EI contactor must be switched off and disconnected from the power before commencing work. The arc chute and main contacts must be examined after a short-circuit. The removal of the arc chute causes the contactor to become mechanically locked. The contactor must be switched off before removing the arc chute. If a short circuit causes the contacts to become welded, then the arc chute may be removed by exerting increased force. Slight welds can be removed with a suitable screwdriver. The operating temperature range for the 100-D140XX00-EI contactor is from -25 to 60 degrees Celsius. The contactor is CE marked and it is certified by the CCC and cULus standards.
