The Allen-Bradley 100-D140Y11 contactor is a Bulletin 100-D non-reversing IEC-certified contactor designed for use in demanding industrial and electrical equipment. It is one of the large-frame contactors available in the Bulletin 100-D contactor series from Allen-Bradley. This magnetic contactor unit has an operating current rating of 140 Amps for AC-3 applications. This Allen-Bradley contactor includes 3 main contacts or poles that can be replaced with spare main contacts which are sold separately when they wear out. It also includes one N.O. auxiliary contact and one N.C. auxiliary contact. Add-on auxiliary contact blocks are available separately for this contactor module to provide additional auxiliary contacts if needed. The 100-D140Y11 contactor has a conventional AC control coil with a voltage rating of 48 Volts AC and an operating frequency of 50 Hertz. This coil also has a Class B insulation class rating and can be replaced if damaged.

The Allen-Bradley 100-D140Y11 Bulletin 100-D non-reversing IEC contactor has an operating current rating of 250 Amps for AC-1 applications. The conventional AC coil on the 100-D140Y11 contactor has a 3-phase output power rating of 40 Horsepower at 200 Volts AC, 50 Horsepower at 230 Volts AC, 100 Horsepower at 460 Volts AC, and 125 Horsepower maximum at 575 Volts AC at 60 Hertz. At 50 Hertz, the coil consumes 310 Watts of pick-up power and 10 Watts of hold-in power. The 3 main contacts on the 100-D140Y11 contactor provide screw terminal connections with a recommended conductor cross-section of anywhere from 6 AWG to a maximum size of 300 MCM as defined by the UL/CSA standards. The 100-D140Y11 non-reversing contactor is also compatible with the Allen-Bradley Bulletin 193 electronic overload relays.
