The Allen-Bradley 100-D180-VY kit is a connector kit that comes in the accessories catalog of the IEC 100 and Bulletin 100-D series of contactors and components that are made by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. This kit is meant to be used with the Bulletin 100-D115 to 100-D180 contactors. This connector kit supports a Delta-Wye connection, but only if the contactor it is working with is being used as a wye contactor. The connectors from this kit are mainly used in automation applications that involve the use of motors and that require control tools to operate the equipment properly. These applications are often heavy-duty applications that require the use of equipment with high switching capabilities. The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 100-D180-VY connector kit’s supported Delta-Wye connections are used in many applications to reduce the amount of voltage that needs to be applied for starting the motor. This kit can be used for both reversing and non-reversing applications.

The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation Bulletin 100-D 100-D180-VY connector kit has a single connector with a cross-section of 80 millimeters square and this connector is meant to be connected to the contactor through a terminal block that can be adapted as needed and that can be selected from the Allen-Bradley Bulletin 100-D accessories catalog. The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 100-D180-VY connector kit can be used under the same environmental conditions as the compatible contactors from the Bulletin 100-D series. The ambient operating temperature must not exceed 60 degrees Celsius. This connection kit does not include the terminal block that it needs to provide the connection with the contactor. The terminal block needs to be ordered separately. It is recommended to have a technician install both the connector kit and the terminal block.
