The 100-D180C11-X10 Industrial Contactor is an AC-powered IEC contactor that has been designed and manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation as part of the Bulletin 100-D contactor product line. This contactor has been manufactured primarily to operate with high levels of switching power for industrial applications that involve the use of AC motors. This contactor has a compact design and it is made with environmentally friendly materials that allow it to operate in any standard type of industrial environment without causing any pollution or environmental harm. The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 100-D180C11-X10 AC IEC Contactor is made to be installed on a panel and the ambient temperature for operation at full power must not exceed 60 degrees Celsius. If this temperature is exceeded, the overload rating of the contactor must be derated so that it can operate without becoming damaged. Its current needs to be derated by 15% or more if it is used at 70 degrees Celsius.

The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 100-D180C11-X10 AC IEC Contactor from the Bulletin 100-D series can only operate with non-reversing equipment that has compatible voltage and frequency ratings because it is a non-reversing contactor. The overload current rating of the contactor must be compatible with the non-reversing equipment that it is connected to too. This contactor has a coil voltage rating between 550 and 600 Volts AC with frequency ratings of 50 and 60 Hertz, respectively. The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 100-D180C11-X10 AC IEC Contactor has a current rating of 180 Amps at 60 degrees Celsius. It operates with 3 main contact poles that each include conventional coils. These coils are all gold-plated. This contactor also comes with one normally open auxiliary contact and with one normally closed auxiliary contact. With both of these auxiliary contacts, the contactor can support a mirror contact performance which enables the normally closed main contact to remain in its normally closed state regardless of the state of power poles which are the main contacts.
