The 100-D180ED22 AC-operated contactor from Allen-Bradley is a Bulletin 100-D 3-phase compact contactor designed for switching large load applications. This contactor is built for applications such as switching AC-2/AC-3 motors. The 100-D180ED22 contactor features significantly reduced weight and dimensions to save installation panel space. Combining reduced size with high thermal durability provides the users and their systems with operational flexibility and long-term reliability. The 100-D180ED22 contactor also features a high electrical switching capability. It is IEC rated to operate with an isolation voltage rating of up to 1000 Volts AC.  The 100-D180ED22 contactor is built for high shock and high vibration conditions. It comes with an IP 20 ingress protection rating that makes its internal components touch-proof and that keeps out dust. The 100-D180ED22 contactor has an ambient operating temperature range of -25 to 60 degrees Celsius, and it can be mounted at a maximum altitude of 3000 meters.

The Allen-Bradley 100-D180ED22 Bulletin 100-D AC-operated contactor’s compact and eco-friendly design makes it suitable for use in both industrial and non-industrial environments. The 100-D180ED22 contactor conforms with the RoHS directive. It also has several industry certifications and meets many worldwide industrial standards including the UL. CE, CCC, CSA, IEC, and c-UL-us standards. The 100-D180ED22 contactor has an AC-actuated electronic coil with a 110 to 130 Volts AC coil voltage rating at 50/60 Hertz and an electronic interface. This coil comes with a factory-built surge suppression feature for protection against high voltage conditions that may damage electrical appliances. It also has Class B coil insulation that is capable of withstanding temperatures up to 130 degrees Celsius. Four side-mounted auxiliary contacts (2 normally open and 2 normally closed) are supplied as standard features for additional feedback wiring. Optional terminals and ring lugs can also be ordered and added on for easy wiring and installation.
