The Allen-Bradley 100-D180EY11 contactor is an IEC 3-pole contactor with 2 auxiliary contacts. It is part of the Bulletin 100-D series of Allen-Bradley IEC contactors. The key features of the Bulletin 100-D contactors like the 100-D180EY11 contactor include 115 to 860 Amps of rated current, support for panel mounting only, construction from environmentally friendly materials, AC or DC coil control, and integrated PLC interfaces with the electronic coils. Optional electronic overload relays can also be ordered for the Bulletin 100-D contactors. Other available optional accessories include side-mounted auxiliary contacts, surge suppressors, terminal shields, and terminal lugs. The Bulletin 100-D contactors are all approved by the CE, CCC, and CSA standards. The 100-D180EY11 contactor has a 180-Amp current rating for 3-phase AC voltage applications and a 250-Amp rating for single-phase AC voltage applications. The electronic coil is rated for 42 to 64 Volts AC at 50 to 60 Hertz.

The Allen-Bradley 100-D180EY11 Bulletin 100-D contactor has one NC auxiliary contact and one NO auxiliary contact. These auxiliary contacts are IP 20 rated per the IEC 60529 and DIN 40050 standards. The protection class of the 100-D180EY11 contactor on its own is IP 00 per the IEC 60529 and DIN 40050 standards. The recommended maximum altitude of the installation site is 2000 meters above sea level per the IEC 60947-4 standards. Operation at the highest rated current level requires a -25 to 60 degrees Celsius ambient temperature range. Compared to 60 degrees Celsius, the contactor experiences at least 15% current derating at 70 degrees Celsius. If the 100-D180EY11 contactor is not currently in use, it should be kept in a non-corrosive environment where the temperature is maintained between -40 and 80 degrees Celsius. To prevent user injury and damage to equipment, only qualified and trained personnel should install and service the 100-D180EY11 contactor.
