The Allen-Bradley 100-D180J11 contactor is a non-reversing type of IEC-certified contactor. It is a member of the Allen-Bradley Bulletin 100-D series of contactors that are available in large frame sizes. This non-reversing Allen-Bradley contactor module comes with a rated operational current of 180 Amps at 400 Volts and it is primarily suited for use in heavy-duty industrial applications. The 100-D180J11 non-reversing IEC contactor features a conventional AC coil that is represented in the part number by the coil code “J”. The conventional coil has a coil voltage rating of 24 Volts AC at 60 Hertz of rated operational frequency. The contactor comes with 3 power poles and it provides 2 integrated auxiliary contacts which are 1 normally open auxiliary contact and 1 normally closed auxiliary contact. The AC-1 operating current rating of the 100-D180J11 contactor is 250 Amps at 690 Volts.
The operational power ratings of the Allen-Bradley 100-D180J11 Bulletin 100-D contactor at 50 Hertz frequency are 55 kilowatts at 230 Volts, 90 kilowatts at 400 Volts, 110 kilowatts at 500 Volts, 90 kilowatts at 690 Volts, and 132 kilowatts at 1000 Volts. Similarly, when the contactor is operating at an AC frequency of 60 Hertz, the 3-phase Horsepower ratings of the contactor are 50 Horsepower at 230 Volts, 60 Horsepower at 460 Volts, and a maximum of 125 Horsepower at 575 Volts. The 100-D180J11 non-reversing contactor does not feature an electronic interface. The main poles (main contacts) of the contactor feature a screw type terminal for connections. The screw terminal can accommodate conductors with a size between 6 AWG and 300 MCM as specified by the UL/CSA standards and has a recommended tightening torque of 22 N-m. The coil on the 100-D180J11 contactor comes with a Class B insulation category rating.
