The 100-D180K11 contactor from Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation is manufactured in the IEC 100 and Bulletin 100-D contactor series. It has 3 main contacts for power like all of the Bulletin 100-D series contactors, and it also has 2 built-in auxiliary contacts which are included on many but not all of the Bulletin 100-D contactors. These 2 built-in auxiliary contacts are 1 normally closed contact and 1 normally open contact. If the 100-D180K11 contactor needs to have more than 2 auxiliary contacts of any type for an application, auxiliary contact blocks can be installed on the contactor. These auxiliary contact blocks also provide the 100-D180K11 contactor with more protection against debris, water, and dust. This contactor only has an IP 00 environmental protection rating by itself, but auxiliary contact blocks can give it an IP 20 environmental protection rating.

The Allen-Bradley 100-D180K11 IEC 100 and Bulletin 100-D contactor cannot be used in reversing motors because it is a non-reversing contactor. The lowest temperature that it can operate at is -13 degrees Fahrenheit, and the highest temperature that it can operate at with full power is 140 degrees Fahrenheit while the highest temperature that it can operate at with at least a 15% reduction in its current is 158 degrees Fahrenheit. The voltage rating of the 100-D180K11 contactor’s coil is 24 Volts AC at 50 Hertz. The coil is a conventional type of coil with Class B insulation for protection. The 100-D180K11 contactor can be interlocked directly with another contactor in certain applications with a mechanical interlock or with a mechanical and electrical interlock.
