The 100-D180X00 contactor is a standard IEC contactor manufactured by Allen-Bradley. It is a non-reversing type of contactor from the Bulletin 100-D contactor family. The Bulletin 100-D series contactors feature compact dimensions, low pick-up and holding power ratings, and a broad range of compatible accessories that help to expand their functionalities. The 100-D180X00 non-reversing IEC contactor comes with a maximum operational current rating of 180 Amps at 60 degrees Celsius. Its maximum AC-1 utilization category current is rated at 250 Amps when operating at 40 degrees Celsius. The 100-D180X00 contactor is a 3-pole contactor that does not come with built-in auxiliary contacts. The lack of built-in auxiliary contacts on the 100-D180X00 contactor can be remedied by optional auxiliary contact blocks. The auxiliary contact blocks for this contactor are available as optional accessories from the Bulletin 100-D along with a variety of other accessories such connecting components and replacement parts.

The Allen-Bradley 100-D180X00 Bulletin 100-D IEC contactor comes fitted with an AC coil which is a conventional type of coil. The conventional coil on the 100-D180X00 contactor has an AC control voltage rating of 48 Volts AC when operating at a frequency of 60 Hertz. It does not offer an EI or Electronic Interface. Its 3-phase output power ratings range from 50 Horsepower at 200 Volts AC to 150 Horsepower maximum at 575 Volts AC at 50 Hertz frequency per the UL/CSA standards. The power rating of the contactor at 50 Hertz coil frequency is the recommended power value according to the IEC 60072-1 standards. The conventional AC coil (coil code “X”) on the 100-D180X00 contactor has a maximum opening delay rating of 12 milliseconds and a maximum closing delay rating of 47 milliseconds. This contactor has a “Type 2” SCCR or Short Circuit Coordination rating per the IEC 60947 standards.
