The 100-D180ZQ22L contactor is IEC rated for use in tough industrial conditions. Its rugged and compact design allows for operation even at a voltage rating of up to 1000 Volts AC. The 100-D180ZQ22L contactor is rated for high thermal operation too. It has a high electrical switching range for operational reliability and application flexibility. Its rated operating temperature range is between -25 and 60 degrees Celsius without derating. The 100-D180ZQ22L contactor can withstand high industrial shock conditions. It supports panel mounting within a control cabinet and it can be installed at an altitude of up to 3000 meters above sea level.

The Allen-Bradley 100-D180ZQ22L Bulletin 100-D contactor is factory-assembled with an internal DC-operated conventional coil for driving the contacts. It also comes with factory-supplied terminal lugs for attaching to the conductors in the system. The 100-D180ZQ22L contactor has a complete line of optional accessories, and up to 4 auxiliary contact blocks and terminals can be ordered and installed to enhance the configuration and simplify the wiring process. The 100-D180ZQ22L contactor can be wired directly to an external 3-phase power source. It comes with 3 main contacts and with 4 auxiliary contacts which are 2 normally open contacts and 2 normally closed contacts, and 1 of the normally closed contacts is a late-break contact. It supports 3-phase wiring. The 100-D180ZQ22L contactor has flat-end terminals that support a bolt-in type connection to the main power circuit. This contactor has a breaking current rating of 180 Amps at 400 Volts AC and a maximum switching rating of 90 kilowatts.
