The 100-D210XX00-EI contactor is a 3-pole Allen-Bradley contactor. It is shipped without a control coil. Allen-Bradley provides both AC controlled and DC controlled electronic or conventional coils for Bulletin 100-D contactors such as the 100-D210XX00-EI contactor. The AC control voltages range from 24 to 500 Volts AC and the DC control voltages range from 24 to 255 Volts DC. The contactor current rating for altitudes of less than 2000 meters above sea level and for ambient temperatures between -25 and 60 degrees Celsius is 210 Amps in 3-phase applications. The rated current falls by 15% if the temperature rises to 70 degrees Celsius. The 100-D210XX00-EI contactor supports an integrated electronic interface. Allen-Bradley has designed the 100-D210XX00-EI contactor to be installed at tilt angles of up to +/-25 degrees relative to the vertical axis.

The Allen-Bradley 100-D210XX00-EI Bulletin 100-D contactor can also be rotated +/-90 degrees from the vertical installation position. Auxiliary contacts are not available on the 100-D210XX00-EI contactor. The dimensions of the contactor are 205 x 155 x 180 millimeters. Due to the presence of high voltages and current, the contactor should be handled and installed by trained technicians only. Failure to follow this recommendation can lead to injury and equipment damage. The 100-D210XX00-EI contactor should be switched off before any maintenance related activity is performed. Short circuits can cause main contact welds. Therefore, contactor inspection is mandatory after every short circuit. Some welds can be removed with a screwdriver. Only original Allen-Bradley spare parts should be used to ensure reliable contactor operation.
