The Allen-Bradley 100-D250EP00 contactor is a Bulletin 100-D series IEC contactor. It is designed for industrial motor control applications. The rated operating current of the contactor for 3-phase AC voltage applications is 250 Amps. The 100-D250EP00 contactor is a 3-pole device which has 3 main contacts and does not include auxiliary contacts. The control coil on the device is electronically controlled and it is rated for 100 Volts AC. The coil includes an integrated electronic interface for advanced device control. When used for starting squirrel-cage motors, the contactor has a rated electrical life span of 1 million operations at 115 Amps and 10 million operations at 90 Amps. The contactor should be mounted vertically and it measures 205 x 155 x 180 millimeters. The 100-D250EP00 contactor can be rotated +/-90 degrees from the vertically upright mounting position.

The Allen-Bradley 100-D250EP00 Bulletin 100-D contactor can be mounted at a tilt angle of +/-25 degrees relative to the vertical plane. The protection category of the contactor is IP 00. It can be panel mounted and it should only be used indoors where it will be protected from corrosive vapors, dust, and moisture. Optimal operation requires compliance with the ambient conditions recommended or required by Allen Bradley. These recommendations include 2000 meters of maximum operating altitude and an ambient operating temperature range of -25 to 60 degrees Celsius. The operation of the 100-D250EP00 contactor outside these conditions leads to derating where the maximum level of current flowing through the contactor reduces by at least 15% at 70 degrees Celsius. The 100-D250EP00 contactor should only be installed by qualified technicians who possess relevant experience in working with high-powered electrical devices. Failure to follow this recommendation can lead to equipment damage and to user injury or death.
