100-D420ED11-X10

The 100-D420ED11-X10 contactor is a large-frame but compact Bulletin 100-D series 3-pole contactor. It is designed by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation for use in different industrial applications such as lighting applications and motor switching applications. The 3-phase AC voltage current rating of the 100-D420ED11-X10 contactor is 420 Amps. Note that this current rating is valid only for the proper ambient conditions that are specified by the manufacturer, and these conditions include 2000 meters above sea level of maximum installation altitude and an operating temperature range between -20 degrees Celsius and 60 degrees Celsius. According to the product manual, the current derates to approximately 85% of the rated value if the temperature of the air surrounding an operating 100-D420ED11-X10 contactor rises to 70 degrees Celsius, which is the absolute highest supported operating temperature. The 100-D420ED11-X10 contactor can only be panel mounted and because it has only an IP 00 protection rating, it needs to be protected from dust and liquids by an external enclosure or cabinet.
