The 100-D420EN00 contactor is a non-reversing type of contactor that has been designed and manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. It is an IEC-rated contactor and it is part of the Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation Bulletin 100-D contactors family. The 100-D420EN00 non-reversing IEC contactor comes with 420 Amps of rated operating current. It comes with an electronic coil and with an electronic interface. The electronic coil on the 100-D420EN00 contactor has an AC control voltage range of 380 Volts AC to 500 Volts AC. The coil has a rated frequency range of 50 to 60 Hertz depending on the type of load that it is handling. The 100-D420EN00 non-reversing contactor is a 3-phase type of contactor that provides 3 main contacts or power poles for power supply connections. This Bulletin 100-D contactor variant does not come with any auxiliary contacts that are built into it like some other Bulletin 100-D contactors do.

The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 100-D420EN00 Bulletin 100-D series contactor has a smaller frame size than standard contactors since it is an IEC contactor. The contactor has approximate dimensions of 205 millimeters in height, 155 millimeters in width, and 180 millimeters in depth. Like other contactors in the 100-D series, the 100-D420EN00 contactor supports the use of auxiliary contact blocks, mechanical/electrical interlocks, frame terminal blocks, and label holders. When one of these external accessories is used in combination with the contactor, it increases the overall dimensions of the contactor. The electronic coil in the 100-D420EN00 non-reversing contactor features low pickup and hold-in power ratings of 270 Watts and 7 Watts, respectively. The “ED” coil comes with Class B insulation. The contactor can switch 3-phase motors with power ratings ranging from 135 kilowatts at 230 Volts to 356 kilowatts at 690 Volts when the coil is operating at 50 Hertz and 60 degrees Celsius. When used with a frame terminal block, the contactor has an IP 20 environmental protection rating.
