The Allen-Bradley 100-D420EZD11 Bulletin 100-D contactor is supplied with a DC-operated electronic coil with an interface. This coil interface consists of a coil bobbin and a printed circuit board for control and interfacing purposes. Two operational modes are offered by this contactor which are the E mode (normal electronic mode) and the EI mode (electronic interface operating mode). A black jumper switch located beneath the contactor’s line side is used for selecting the operating mode. The 100-D420EZD11 contactor has 3 main circuit contacts, 2 factory-supplied side-mounted auxiliary contacts (L1 and L2), 2 primary coil terminals (A1 and A2), and 2 PLC interface terminals (B1 and B2). The 110 to 130 Volts DC control voltage is wired to the A1 and A2 terminals. When the contactor is set to the E mode, the coil mechanism is controlled solely from the A1 and A2 terminals and nothing is connected to the B1 and B2 terminals.
