The Allen-Bradley 100-D420EZD11 Bulletin 100-D IEC contactor is an industrial contactor that supports a sealed enclosure for protection. This sealed industrial enclosure provides a robust housing for all of the contacts. It also prevents the users from touching the contacts and injuring their fingers or hands. The 100-D420EZD11 contactor comes with Class B thermal and electrical insulation on its electronic coil that provides high levels of thermal isolation even at a high load. The 100-D420EZD11 contactor features an eco-friendly design that meets the RoHS environmental standards. The 100-D420EZD11 contactor also supports a wide range of renewal parts and accessories kits that are available from the Allen-Bradley Bulletin 100-D accessories catalog The 100-D420EZD11 contactor is CE, c-UL-us, and CCC certified, and it is also designed to meet the IEC, UL, and CSA global industrial standards.

The Allen-Bradley 100-D420EZD11 Bulletin 100-D contactor is supplied with a DC-operated electronic coil with an interface. This coil interface consists of a coil bobbin and a printed circuit board for control and interfacing purposes. Two operational modes are offered by this contactor which are the E mode (normal electronic mode) and the EI mode (electronic interface operating mode). A black jumper switch located beneath the contactor’s line side is used for selecting the operating mode. The 100-D420EZD11 contactor has 3 main circuit contacts, 2 factory-supplied side-mounted auxiliary contacts (L1 and L2), 2 primary coil terminals (A1 and A2), and 2 PLC interface terminals (B1 and B2). The 110 to 130 Volts DC control voltage is wired to the A1 and A2 terminals. When the contactor is set to the E mode, the coil mechanism is controlled solely from the A1 and A2 terminals and nothing is connected to the B1 and B2 terminals. When the EI mode is selected, the B1 and B2 terminals are wired to a 24 Volts DC power source from a PLC or any pilot device and the coil mechanism can be controlled directly from the 24 Volts DC power source.
