The Allen-Bradley 100-D860ED11-X10 IEC contactor is a compact and rugged industrial contactor that has been designed for cost-effective switching functions in large-frame industrial applications. The 100-D860ED11-X10 contactor is a complete factory-assembled contactor that is available from the Allen-Bradley Bulletin 100-D contactors series. The  100-D860ED11-X10 contactor features several factory-installed options that include 2 side-mounted auxiliary contacts, a stand-alone normally open auxiliary contact block(for additional wiring, 3 standard normally open contacts for connecting to a power source, and an integrated surge suppression circuit for protection against high voltage conditions. The side-mounted auxiliary contacts have a snap-in design that allows for quick and easy mounting without specialized tools. Up to 2 additional auxiliary contacts can be added to the contactor to meet certain application specifications. The Bulletin 100-D series offers a complete range of accessories and renewal parts to extend the lifespan and expand the functionalities of the 100-D860ED11-X10 contactor.

The Allen-Bradley 100-D860ED11-X10 Bulletin 100-D contactor features a low-power switching electronic AC coil that it uses for driving contacts. This coil has a nominal switching signal voltage rating of 24 Volts DC at a current rating of 15 milliamps. It supports 2 operational modes. These 2 operating modes are the normal operating mode or E mode, which is the default mode, and the electronic interface mode or the EI mode, which is the PLC interface mode. The operators can switch between these 2 modes by using the factory-supplied black jumper switch that is located on the top of the contactor. When the standard E mode is selected, the contactor is wired and controlled via the A1 and A2 terminals. The coil mechanism can be controlled with 110 to 130 Volts AC signal voltage and 50 to 60 Hertz frequency. When the PLC EI mode is selected, the coil is wired and controlled from a 24 Volts DC low-level signal power source that is wired to the B1 and B2 terminals.
