The Allen-Bradley 100-E09EJ10 DC-Operated Contactor is a 3-pole direct-on-line contactor from the IEC 100 Contactors series. The Bulletin 100/104-E contactors like this one are designed with a space-saving blueprint with reduced sizes and compact dimensions to minimize panel space requirements. The 100-E09EJ10 Contactor features a DC-only electronic coil with an integrated PLC interface for enhanced control, a wide operating voltage range (to accommodate a wide variety of applications), low power pick-up and hold-in times, direct-on-line connection for connecting AC motors directly to a 3-phase power supply, a complete range of optional accessories, and environmentally friendly components. The 100-E09EJ10 Contactor supports a 3-pole wiring configuration, and it has 3 main pole contacts and one normally open (NO) auxiliary contact.

The 100-E09EJ10 Contactor has a standard DC-type electronic coil with very low switching power (with 10 milliamps, 24 Volts DC switching ratings). It has a built-in PLC interface, and its low switching energy consumption rating allows for direct PLC integration without interposing relay circuits. The 100-E09EJ10 Contactor’s electronic DC coil has a broad operating voltage range between 24 and 60 Volts DC to accommodate a wide range of applications. It has a rated carrying current capacity of 9 Amps and a maximum switching power rating of 5.5 Kilowatts at 690 Volts AC. The 100-E09EJ10 Contactor has a rated operating range of 200 to 575 Volts AC (50/60 Hertz line frequency)/24 to 440 Volts DC. It also has a CSA/UL rated isolation rating of 600 Volts AC and a maximum impulse voltage withstand rating of 6000 Volts. The 100-E09EJ10 Contactor has an operating temperature range of -40 to 70 degree Celsius and an IP2X environmental protection rating.
