The 100-E116KD11L contactor is a Bulletin 100-E and IEC 100 series contactor manufactured by Allen-Bradley. It is a 3-phase contactor rated at 116 Amps at 400 Volts (AC-3) and 160 Amps at 690 Volts (AC-1). The operating temperature range of the contactor is from -40 to +70 degrees Celsius. The contactor's rated operating currents change depending on the ambient temperature. At 60 degrees Celsius and 690 Volts, the maximum AC-1 load current rating is 145 Amps, while at 70 degrees Celsius, it is 130 Amps. The 100-E116KD11L contactor uses a standard electronic coil which can support an integrated PLC interface in some applications. The contactor has a control voltage range of 100 to 250 Volts AC and DC. The frequency rating of the AC voltage is 50 or 60 Hertz.

The 100-E116KD11L contactor has a cable clamp-type of connection terminal. The cable clamp terminal has built-in terminal lugs, as indicated by the letter "L" at the end of the contactor's model number. The recommended torque for the main contacts terminal is 8 N-m for conductors with cross-sections ranging from 10 to 95 square millimeters. The contactor has 3 normally open main contacts. The auxiliary contacts are available in a configuration with one NO and one NC contact. The 100-E116KD11L contactor supports 37 kilowatts of rated operational power to switch 3-phase motors in a voltage range of 220 to 240 Volts (AC-3) and an ambient temperature of 60 degrees Celsius. Similarly, when switching 3-phase motors at 50 Hertz operating frequency, it has a rated operational power of 75 kilowatts at 440 Volts and 63 kilowatts at 690 Volts.
