The Allen-Bradley 100-E12EJ01 Contactor is a DIN Rail-mounted and coil-controlled contactor from the Allen-Bradley IEC 100 Contactors series and the Bulletin 100E large-frame industrial contactor product line. The Allen-Bradley 100E contactors are built around a smaller footprint to save operation and installation costs. They are also equipped with electronic AC/DC low-power coils and they offer current ratings from 116 Amps up to 1060 Amps within the same compact design. Standard features for the 100-E12EJ01 Contactor include a wide operating voltage range, an AC/DC coil option which eliminates the need for an additional contactor, very low pickup and hold-in times, a PLC configuration interface, and a complete range of field-installable accessories. The 100-E12EJ01 Contactor, like all bulletin 100E contractors, has parts made from environmentally-friendly materials.

The 100-E12EJ01 Contactor has a rated switching current of 12 Amps and an operating voltage range from 240 to 690 Volts AC. It also has a power rating from 3.5 Kilowatts (at 240 Volts DC) to 7.5 Kilowatts (at 690 Volts AC) for switching AC motors (AC-2, AC-3). The 100-E12EJ10 Contactor’s main circuit has an acceptable input voltage range between 24 Volts DC and 440 Volts DC or 115 Volts AC and 575 Volts AC. It has an isolation voltage rating of 690 Volts AC and a rated maximum impulse voltage withstand rating of 6 Kilovolts. The 100-E12EJ10 Contactor has an AC/DC-controlled coil with low switching energy (10 milliamps and 24 Volts DC) that allows for a direct interface with a PLC without interposing relay circuits. This coil has an operating voltage range of 20 to 60 Volts DC/24 to 60 Volts AC, and it comes with Class F insulation (per IEC 60947-4-1). The 100-E12EJ01 Contactor has 3 main poles and 1 Normally Closed (NC) auxiliary contact with screw-type terminals.
