The 100-E12QJ01 contactor is one of the newest contactors from Allen-Bradley. It belongs to the Bulletin 100-E line in the IEC 100 Contactors series and it is a direct-on-line MCS-E type of contactor. This contactor is compliant with the IEC/EN 60947 standards and can be operated at a rated voltage of up to 690 Volts AC. It is ideal for demanding industrial applications due to its sturdy, resilient, and efficient build. It has an environmentally friendly design that uses less energy than previous contactor models. The Bulletin 100-E series contactors have an AC-3 utilization category and can handle up to 1060 Amps of operational current. A PLC interface is not included with this contactor model. The 100-E12QJ01 contactor can be panel mounted or mounted on a DIN Rail measuring 35 millimeters.

The 100-E12QJ01 large frame IEC 100 contactor has 3 main poles and 1 normally closed auxiliary contact. If required, auxiliary contact blocks can be mounted on the contactor's side. The contactor can be used with a variety of accessories such as mechanical interlocks, terminal lugs, terminal shields, and connecting bars, giving it a high degree of adaptability. The 100-E1QJ01 contactor supports switching for motors ranging from 3 kilowatts at 220 to 240 Volts to 7.5 kilowatts at 690 Volts at 50 Hertz frequency. It also supports 3-Horsepower rated motors at 200 Volts AC and 10-Horsepower rated motors at 575 Volts at 60 Hertz frequency. It has a maximum resistive current rating (AC-1) of 28 Amps at 690 Volts and 40 degrees Celsius, and a maximum inductive current rating (AC-3) of 12 Amps at 400 Volts and 60 degrees Celsius. The 100-E12QJ01 contactor's high thermal and switching capabilities ensure reliable and consistent operation and a high level of durability.
