The 100-E146KJ11 Contactor is an AC and DC-operated direct-on-line contactor that has been included in the IEC 100 series of contactors manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. This contactor has been designed to meet industry requirements in applications where extensive motor control is being used. This contactor comes with a compact design that enables it to provide high-powered switching capabilities. This contactor operates with 3 main poles and it comes with one normally open auxiliary contact and one normally closed auxiliary contact. The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 100-E146KJ11 AC and DC-Operated Direct-On-Line Contactor operates with a current rating of 225 Amps that has been calculated at a specific temperature of 40 degrees Celsius. The standard coil voltage ratings of this contactor are 24 to 60 Volts AC with a frequency of 50 to 60 Hertz, and 20 to 60 Volts DC.

The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 100-E146KJ11 IEC 100 Series AC and DC-Operated Direct-On-Line Contactor can be ordered with an optional PLC for special control applications. The only thing to note about this optional PLC interface is that once it has been ordered, its use is mandatory. It must not be ordered if it is not a requirement of the application. The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 100-E146KJ11 AC and DC-Operated Direct-On-Line Contactor also supports optional overload relays that are electronic. This contactor can be mounted on a panel or DIN Rail that is at least a 35-millimeter DIN Rail. The contactor does not include any housing and it is not necessary to add any since it can operate in harsh thermal conditions and different kinds of environments. This contactor is rated for a maximum altitude of 3000 meters for normal operation. The operating temperature range for this contactor goes from -40 to 70 degrees Celsius.
