The 100-E16KJ01 Electronic AC/DC Contactor is a 3-pole standard AC/DC contactor from the Allen-Bradley Bulletin 100E/104E IEC contactor family. This contactor series (100E) offers significantly reduced dimensions and weight compared to other contactors to fit in even the most tight-space applications. The 100E contactors also offer an eco-friendly design and they have a complete range of accessories for custom applications. The 100-E16KJ01 Contactor has a standard-type electronic AC/DC coil that does not support a PLC interface. This universal standard-type AC/DC coil offers a wide operating range to accommodate a wide range of applications, and it also offers a low switching rating, eliminating the need for interposing relays during integration. The 100-E16KJ01 Contactor’s AC/DC coil has an operating voltage range of 20 to 60 Volts DC/24 to 60 Volts AC, and an insulation protection rating of Class F per the IEC 60947-4-1 standards.

The Allen-Bradley 100-E16KJ01 IEC 100 Contactor supports a 3-pole wiring configuration with screw type terminals. It also has a normally closed (NC) auxiliary contact. The 100-E16KJ01 Contactor’s main circuit offers an IRC-rated isolation voltage rating of 690 Volts AC and a maximum impulse withstand rating of 6 kilovolts. The main circuit has a maximum operating current of 16 Amps at 400 Volts AC and a maximum power rating of 15 Horsepower at 575 Volts AC. The 100-E16KJ01 Contactor has an operating voltage range of 240 to 575 Volts AC (at 50 to 60 Hertz line frequency) or 24 to 440 Volts DC. It supports direct-on-line connection with AC switching motors. The 100-E16KJ01 Contactor comes with an IP2X insulated enclosure that provides housing for the contacts and coils, as well as providing some degree of protection against the users touching the contacts.
