The 100-E16KY10 IEC 100 contactor is an IEC-certified power contactor manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. It is part of the Bulletin 100-E series of large frame contactors, and it supports a wide operating voltage range. The 100-E16KY10 contactor is a robust device that is designed for heavy-duty applications in industrial settings. It is commonly implemented in the control and switching of IE3 premium efficiency electric motors. It includes mounting holes that allow for quick and easy DIN Rail and panel installation. The 100-E16KY10 contactor has an energy-efficient and modular design and a full range of optional plug-in accessories. It has an AC-1 current rating of 30 Amps and an AC-3 current rating of 16 Amps, with operating temperatures of 40 and 60 degrees Celsius, respectively.

The Allen-Bradley IEC Contactor 100-E16KY10 contactor has 3 N.O. (Normally Open) poles or main contacts and one N.O. auxiliary contact. It supports 5-Horsepower motors at 200 to 230 Volts AC, 10-Horsepower motors at 480 Volts AC, and up to 1-Horsepower motors at 575 Volts AC, all at an AC frequency of 60 Hertz. The 100-E16KY10 contactor also supports motors with outputs ranging from 4 kilowatts to 9 kilowatts at 220 to 690 Volts AC at a frequency of 50 Hertz. It comes with standard electronic coils with coil voltages ranging from 48 to 180 Volts AC/DC and an AC voltage frequency of 50/60 Hertz. In comparison to older models, the 100-E16KY10 contactor’s electronic coils have low pick-up and hold-in power ratings. The coil's pick-up power is 50 Watts and its hold-in power is 2 Watts when operating at the rated voltage range. The 100-E16KY10 contactor does not support reversing.
