The Allen-Bradley 100-E38KY400 IEC 100 Contactor is a 4-pole, direct-on-line contactor from the 100E series of compact industrial contactors. The 100-E38KY400 Contactor features reduced dimensions to save panel space and energy. The 100-E38KY400 Contactor has a standard type of AC/DC control coil. The coil is energized by a lower voltage than the motor voltage. The coil has an operating voltage range between 48 and 130 Volts AC/DC and a coil frequency range of 50 to 60 Hertz for the AC voltage. The 100-E38KY400 Contactor’s coil has standard screw-type terminals, and it is protected with Class F IEC rated insulation, which confers thermal stability at up to 180 degrees Celsius. The 100-E38KY400 Contactor has an acceptable input voltage range between 115 and 575 Volts AC (at 50/60 Hertz) or 24 and 440 Volts DC.

The Allen-Bradley 100-E38KY400 Contactor offers voltage suppression capabilities, and it also offers a circuit isolation rating of up to 690 Volts and an impulse voltage withstand rating of up to 6 Kilovolts. The 100-E38KY400 Contactor has 4 main contacts (all NO or Normally Open contacts) for field-side wiring.
