The 100-E400EJ11 Low-Energy IEC 100 Contactor is a 3-pole AC and DC-operated contactor designed by Allen-Bradley. The 100-E400EJ11 Contactor has significantly reduced weight and dimensions to save panel space and installation costs. It also features a DC-only type coil with significantly reduced switching power for working with PLC or low-voltage pilot devices. The 100-E400EJ11 Contactor features a low switching power rating of 24 Volts DC/10 milliamps, which allows for a direct interface with PLCs without interposing relays. The 100-E400EJ11 Contactor has a “Class F” insulated electronic DC coil with a rated control voltage range of 24 to 60 Volts DC. The 100-E400EJ11 Contactor offers an eco-friendly design that meets several worldwide industry standards such as the IEC, UL, and CSA standards.

The 100-E400EJ11 Contactor has a main current circuit with 3 main Normally Open (NO) contacts for connections to line power. These contacts have bolt-in terminals that help to simplify the wiring to a power source. The 100-E400EJ11 Contactor also has 2 factory-installed auxiliary contacts (1 NO and 1 NC), but additional contacts can be ordered from the Bulletin 100E range of accessories. The 100-E400EJ11 Contactor’s main circuit includes a surge suppression capability for enhanced performance and reduced downtimes. This main circuit also features a voltage isolation rating of up to 690 Volt AC and an impulse voltage withstand rating of up to 8 kilovolts. The 100-E400EJ11 Contactor has a 3-phase AC input voltage range of 115 to 575 Volts AC (at 50 to 60 Hertz). It also has a DC input voltage range of 24 to 440 Volts DC. The 100-E400EJ11 Contactor has a rated carrying current of 400 Amps (AC-3) at 400 Volt AC and a maximum switching rating of 220 kilowatts.
