The Allen-Bradley 100-E52KD400 contactor is a 4-pole direct-on-line contactor. This 4-pole direct-on-line contactor has been designed and manufactured in the Bulletin 100-E product line as part of the Allen-Bradley IEC 100 Contactors series. It has 4 main poles as its contacts, and it does not come with any built-in auxiliary contacts. The 4 main contacts of the 100-E52KD400 4-pole direct-on-line contactor are all normally open or NO contacts. There are no normally closed or NC contacts in this contactor. The 100-E52KD400 4-pole direct-on-line contactor can be AC operated or DC operated. When it is used with an AC-1 switching motor that is rated for 690 Volts operating voltage, the 100-E52KD400 4-pole direct-on-line contactor has an operating current rating of 100 Amps at a rated operating temperature of 40 degrees Celsius or 104 degrees Fahrenheit.

When the Allen-Bradley 100-E52KD400 4-pole direct-on-line contactor is used with a UL-listed general use motor that has an enclosure, it has an operating current rating of 80 Amps at a rated operating temperature of 40 degrees Celsius or 104 degrees Fahrenheit. If the 100-E52KD400 4-pole direct-on-line contactor needs auxiliary contacts for a specific application, it can be outfitted with a 2-pole auxiliary contact block that comes with 1 normally open auxiliary contact and with 1 normally closed auxiliary contact. These auxiliary contacts are designed to mirror the performance of the 4 main contact poles. The 100-E52KD400 4-pole direct-on-line contactor can be connected to the auxiliary contact block securely without tools. This contactor can also support optional terminal shrouds that provide an IP 20 level of protection to all the wiring.
