The Allen-Bradley 100-E65KN00 Large Frame IEC Contactor is a 3-pole AC/DC contactor that is designed to provide low-cost switching for large-frame industrial applications. The 100-E65KN00 Contactor is part of the IEC 100 Contactors series features significantly reduced size and it supports a complete range of optional accessories for enhanced and specialized performance. It also features an environmentally friendly design. The 100-E65KN00 Contactor comes with a standard AC/DC electronic coil (without a PLC interface) that powers the contacts’ closure mechanism upon being energized. This electronic coil accepts AC/DC input voltage ranges from 250 Volts AC to 500 Volts AC (at 50/60 Hertz) or 250 Volts DC to 500 Volts DC. The coil features Class F insulation (per the IEC 60947-4 standards) which provides thermal stability at up to 180 degrees Celsius at the full load ratings.

The Allen-Bradley 100-E65KN00 Contactor has a rated operating range between 115 Volts AC and 690 Volts AC (at 50 to 60 Hertz line frequency). It also has an operating current rating of 65 Amps at 400 Volts AC and a power rating of 37 kilowatts at 690 Volts AC and 50 Hertz for switching AC-3 and AC-2 motors. It can be installed on a panel or on a 35-millimeter DIN Rail.
