The Allen-Bradley 100-E65KY00 3-Pole IEC Contactor from the Bulletin 100E contactor family in the IEC 100 Contactors series. The 100-E65KY00 Contactor has a significantly reduced size and reduced weight to save panel space and to make it easy to install. The 100-E65KY00 Contactor has a standard low-voltage AC/DC electronic control coil that controls the contacts’ opening and closing mechanisms. Unlike the conventional contactors in its class, the 100-E65KY00 Contactor offers AC/DC control switching, providing switching for a wide variety of applications and completely removing the need for additional relays. The electronic coil also offers a wide operating voltage range between 48 Volts AC and 130 Volts AC (at 50/60 Hertz) or between 48 Volts DC and 130 Volts DC. The electronic coil also features Class F IEC rated insulation, providing thermal stability at the full power ratings.

The Allen-Bradley 100-E65KY00 Contactor has a 3-pole main circuit wiring configuration. The 100-E65KY00 Contactor is supplied without factory-installed auxiliary contacts, but auxiliary contact blocks (normally open or normally closed) can be ordered separately to meet application needs. The 100-E65KY00 Contactor has a maximum current rating of 65 Amps at 400 Volts AC, and it provides up to 60 Horsepower of rated output power for switching AC-2 and AC-3 motors. The 100-E65KY00 Contactor is designed to accept both DC and AC inputs, and it supports direct connections (direct-on-line connections) to 3-phase power sources. It accepts input voltages from 115 Volts AC to 575 Volts AC (at 50 to 60 Hertz) or from 24 Volts DC to 440 Volts DC. It provides voltage suppression, an isolation rating of up to 690 Volts AC (per the IEC standards), and a rated impulse voltage withstand of up to 6 kilovolts. The 100-E65KY00 Contactor has an operating temperature range of -40 to 70 degrees Celsius and it can be installed at up to 3000 meters above sea level.
