The Allen-Bradley 104-E205EN22 IEC 104 Series Large Frame Contactor is a reversing type of large frame contactor. The 104-E205EN22 Contactor has 3 poles or main power contacts which are 3 normally open contacts for wiring the contactor to the main power line. It accepts AC or DC actuation voltage and it has a 3-phase AC operating voltage rating from 115 to 575 Volts AC (at 50 to 60 Hertz). The 104-E205EN22 Contactor also accepts DC input voltage from 24 to 440 Volts DC. The 104-E205EN22 Contactor has a rated AC-3 current of 205 Amps and a rated AC-1 current of 350 Amps, and a switching output power rating of 200 Horsepower at 575 Volts AC. The 104-E205EN22 Contactor has a voltage suppression capability for improved operation and reduced downtime. It also provides voltage isolation at up to 690 Volt AC (per the IEC standards) and an impulse withstand rating of 8 kilovolts.

The Allen-Bradley 104-E205EN22 IEC 104 Series Large Frame Contactor has 2 side-mounted auxiliary contacts with a snap-in design as a standard factory option. These contacts are a Normally Closed (NC) contact and a Normally Open (NO) contact and they are for wiring feedback circuits. Also supplied as a factory-installed option is a mechanical interlock (catalog number 100-EM1-00) for interlocking 2 contactors that are the same size or different sizes together in a reversing mode configuration. The 100-EM1-00 mechanical interlock has a low-switching AC/DC electronic coil with a PLC interface circuit. This coil offers a wide voltage range to accommodate a wide range of applications, and its AC or DC actuation capability makes it easy to use for accurate application selection. This coil uses low amounts of switching power and this allows for a direct interface with an optional PLC circuit without interposing relay circuits. The 104-E205EN22 Contactor has a coil voltage range between 250 Volts AC/DC and 500 Volts AC/DC (with 50 to 60 Hertz AC frequency).
