The Allen-Bradley 104-E750EJ22 AC/DC Reversing Contactor is a 3-pole, compact, and universal electronic contactor that has been designed for large-frame switching applications. The 104-E580ED22 Contactor has reduced weight and reduced dimensions that save panel space. It is part of the IEC 104 Contactors series. A typical Bulletin 104-E contactor like this one comprises current-carrying terminals, an AC/DC-controlled coil, and a main input circuit. The 104-E750EJ22 Contactor uses low-power consumption types of universal electronic coils that support AC/DC inputs. These types of coils offer low switching voltage that is suitable for direct connection with a low-voltage pilot device or a programmable logic controller. The switching voltage is adjustable from 24 Volts DC to 60 Volts DC.
The Allen-Bradley 104-E750EJ22 Contactor’s coil circuit comes with Class F insulation that provides thermal stability at up to 180 degree Celsius. The contactor’s main circuit is capable of accepting AC/DC inputs with operating voltage range from 24 to 440 Volts DC or 220 to 575 Volts AC (at 50 to 60 Hertz frequency). The main circuit also has carrying current ratings of 750 Amps at 400 Volts AC and 1050 Amps at 690 Volts, and a maximum switching power rating of 700 Horsepower. The 104-E750EJ22 Contactor offers up to 690 Volts of circuit isolation (main circuit) voltage and a maximum impulse voltage withstand rating of 6 kilovolts. The 104-E750EJ22 Contactor is also a 3-pole reversing contactor with 3 main pole contacts and 1 Normally Closed (NC) and 1 Normally Open (NO) auxiliary contact. The 104-E750EJ22 Contactor is designed for use within a -40 to 70 degrees Celsius ambient temperature range. It has an IP2X rated enclosure.
