* The Allen Bradley 1775-L2 has been discontinued by the manufacturer, however we specialize in obsolete parts and can likely still supply surplus and/or refurbished replacement 1775-L2 units instead of migration.
The 1775-L2 is the main processor module for the 1775 series PLC-3 programmable controller systems which are made by Allen Bradley. The 1775-L2 provides the function of program execution and memory management to the PLC-3 programmable controllers. It will occupy two slots on the system and will receive the power and communicate with the other devices through the PLC-3 system itself. The 1775-L2 has an efficient program scan time can help in determining the status of the outputs and can perform real-time events through its real-time interrupt routine, it also allows you to quickly change between programs and the troubleshooting for the device is also easy as it has a diagnostic indicator to indicate the status of the module. It supports the level 2 instruction set which is more extensive and provides additional instructions as compared to the level 1 instruction set. The memory management in the module allows you to handle a wide variety of applications and it can also be expanded as per the needs of the application.
The 1775-L2 has four AMD 2903 bit slice microprocessors and has an I/O image table for processing the I/O points at high speed. It requires a current of 9.4A at 5 Volts DC and 40mA at 15 Volts DC. The recommended operating temperature for the 1775-L2 is 0 to 60 degrees Celsius and the storage temperature is -40 to 85 degrees Celsius. It is necessary to maintain the temperature of the device within the specified limits to ensure the desired life expectancy of the device. The relative humidity of the operating and the storage environment should be non-condensing between 5 to 95%.
