The Allen-Bradley 1775-LX PLC-3 Communication Adapter Module occupies a single slot in a PLC-3 expansion chassis or in the main chassis. It offers complete access to the expansion bus that has four 50-pin connectors. This module can work with the 1770-KF2 to connect intelligent RS-232-C or RS-422-A to a local area network. Since the 1775-LX is an expansion module, it is transparent to the system and this helps in optimizing the reliability and performance of the system. This PLC-3 extension chassis has no additional I/O programming or wiring with extension. The module is able to execute several privileged and non-privileged commands.
The 1775-LX can work with network support including DH-485, EtherNet/IP, and DeviceNet networks. This helps to prevent inaccurate positioning within the system. It also features a small footprint, which minimizes panel space. The module features rich functionality that can address a wide range of applications. It has LED indicators that are located in the front part of the module. These are useful for monitoring module activity and for troubleshooting. The indicators also show the status of the module when it is transmitting messages. The 1775-LX has two ports that are used to back up the system. The module also has single thumb wheel switches that are used in determining the address of the module. In order to ease programming, this module uses ladder diagram instructions. It also provides memory write protection through switch selection and programming. Worldwide shipping of this product is available,
