1775-XB

The Allen-Bradley 1775-XB is a motion control unit which is designed to handle at least 2 and up to 4 axes at a time. With the available internal G-language programming, this drive can be utilized for advanced motor regulation. It is ideal for applications such as multi-tasking and traversing so that each operation can be independently applied to each axis. There are 2 control motions which are possible; they include the continuous path and point-to-point motion. With the point-to-point regulation, the positioning is controlled independently for every axis. The pathway varies for the traveling range, feed rates, and so on, which are set. The 1775-XB is comfortably applicable to the continuous path which includes the start position and target position being controlled, and the paths in between the points.

The 1775-XB drive comes with a multi-tasking G language that is the maximum language for the motion regulation. With the G language, users are able to easily come up with programs for multi-axis control, without having to put a burden on the CPU unit’s ladder diagram program. The 1775-XB provides the users with the ability to start the next positioning process without having to wait for the first one; this is after the positioning command has been output. This feature allows the unit to perform high-velocity pick-and-pace undertakings. The unit is also compatible with the absolute encoders like the OMNUC W series encoder, eradicating the need to undertake the original search. The 2-axis MC unit function applies to the X axis when the 2-axis, 1-task configuration is utilized.
