The 1771-HSA Module is an IMC servo controller module with ADV that is manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. This controller module has a 96-KB lithium battery-powered memory cartridge that is an integral component of the controller system because it stores the application programs as well as AMP parameters of the controller. The lithium battery has a typical lifespan of 3 years, and it can work with the memory module for up to 10 years. The 1771-HSA controller module also features a power supply module with an electrical voltage rating of 120 to 220 Volts AC, and it is connected to it through the 1771-CAS power connector cable that provides a direct connection to the controller via a power connector on the controller.

The Allen-Bradley 1771-HSA controller module comes with a 15-pin AUX FDBK connector that is used to provide power to any auxiliary encoder it is connected to. This connector also receives feedback signals from the auxiliary encoder as well as the resolver rotor. This module also features a 9-pin RS-232 connector that helps in testing and debugging the MML programs and the downloading and uploading of the users' MML programs and AMP parameters. The 1771-HSA controller module uses a wide range of cables with variable lengths to connect. It comes with the 1771-PS7 power connector cable, the 1771-CAP Axis E-Stop connector cable for connecting to the termination panel AXIS E-STOP connector, the 1771-CAPA AUX FDBK connector cable for connecting to the termination panel Auxiliary feedback connector, and the 1771-CT50 RS-232 connector cable for connecting to the T35 and T50 offline development systems. Also, the handheld pendant can be connected to enhance the modification of the system variable and parameters.
