The 1771-HSAR IMC Servo Controller Module by Allen-Bradley is a controller module with ADV. Its 96-KB lithium battery memory cartridge which is shipped with the controller is an integral component of the controller system as it stores the controller’s Application programs and AMP parameters. Its lithium battery has a typical lifespan of 3 years and it can back up the memory module for a maximum of 10 years. The 1771-HSAR also has a power supply module with a 120V AC or 220V AC electrical rating, connected to it via a 1771-CAS power connector cable, which connects directly to the controller through the power connector on the controller. The 1771-HSAR has an AUX FDBK connector which is a 15-pin connector used for providing power to any auxiliary encoder connected to it and for receiving feedback signals from the auxiliary encoder and a resolver rotor. It also has a 9-pin RS-232 connector which is used to test and debug MML programs and to download and upload AMP parameters and users MML programs. The 1771-HSAR uses various cables with variable lengths for connection it has a power connector cable (1771-PS7), an Axis E-Stop connector cable (1771-CAP) for connection to the AXIS E-STOP connector of the Termination panel, an AUX FDBK connector cable (1771-CAPA) for connection to the Auxiliary feed-back connector of the termination panel, and the RS-232 connector cable (1771-CT50) for connection to the T35 and T50 offline development system. A Hand-Held pendant may be connected for convenient modification of system variable and parameters.
