The Allen-Bradley 1771-ID16GM is a 120V AC Isolated Input Module that is designed specifically for use in General Motors devices only. It has 16 inputs per module and can be used with a Series B I/O chassis or later and it is not compatible with the 1771-AL I/O adapter. Plus, it has been qualified for Bulletin 700P style 120V AC relay circuits only. It features selectable input filtering that limits the effects of voltage transients for minimized electrically-related downtime, optimal product life, and enhanced power quality. The 1771-ID16GM General Motors AC Isolated Input has specific current requirements.  It has a nominal current of 2.5mA and a nominal voltage of 120V AC. The On-state current ranges from a minimum of 2mA at 105V AC to 0.8mA at 66V AC. It is powered by the backplane via a power supply with 75mA maximum backplane current. It has an input voltage range of 105-120V AC at 47-63Hz. For proper circuit operation with the 1771-ID16GM, all solenoid or inductive input loads must provide external surge suppression. The 17 indicators of the module consist of 1 active indicator and 16 input status indicators. It has 2 customer-selectable for the input filter time jumpers –one for inputs 00-07, and the other sets the input filter time for inputs 10-17.
