The Allen-Bradley 1771-IRK PLC-5 RTD is an I/O module. This device also works at the actual temperature or Ohm readings data format, 800 mA backplane current. This device is a smart module and depends on no external power supply. The device also works on a maximum of 6 three-wire RTD inputs. The channel update resolution set for the 1771-IRK module is the 50ms/8 channel; 16bits+sign of 1o Celsius/1o Fahrenheit/bit. With the 1771-IRK device, the plastic keying bands are shipped along with each I/O chassis. This enables the user to show the status indicator in the On/Off position. With this, you are free to key up any backplane connector in any I/O chassis other than the leftmost connector that is reserved only for the processor modules or adapters. The associated chassis power supply provides power through the 1771 I/O chassis backplane.
