The Allen Bradley 1771-OADK is one version of the PLC 5 Digital AC Output Module series, which includes 16 outputs and a conformal coating. Falling into a voltage category of 120 Volts AC, the 1771-OADK operates on between 10 and 138 Volts of AC. While the maximum current per module is 8 A, the maximum continuous current per output is 2 A; with a typical AC off signal delay of 45 milliseconds and a typical DC off signal delay of 50 milliseconds, this unit functions at a quick pace making it time efficient and user-friendly.

The 1771-OADK operates at temperatures between -25 and 60 degrees Celsius (-13 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit); while it is not operating, it generally stays between -40 and 85 degrees Celsius (-40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit). Its relative humidity lies between 5% and 95% without condensation.

The operating vibration of this unit is 2 g at 10 to 500 Hertz with an operating shock of 30 g and a nonoperating shock of 30 g.

The 1771-OADK is tested to meet Directive 73/23/EEC Low Voltage Directive Board by applying the security requirements EN 61131-2 Programmable Controllers, Part 2 - Equipment Requirements and Testing. The 1771-OADK is suitable for use in Class I, Division 2, Group A, B, C, D, or non-hazardous locations only. Take caution to disconnect from all sources to the module and all devices connected to the module before installing or uninstalling the device. Installing or uninstalling a module while sources are connected can result in destruction of equipment.
