Allen Bradley’s PLC 5 output module series contains the part 1771-OBNK, a digital DC output module with a total of 32 outputs made up of groups of four with eight outputs per group. This unit operates best between temperatures of 32 and 140 degrees Fahrenheit, and it stores well between temperatures of -40 and 185 degrees Fahrenheit. Additionally, it can hold a relative, noncondensing humidity of 5 to 95%; temperature extremes that exceed the listed maximum and minimum temperatures can cause damage to this module.

Its isolation voltage is 1500 Volts AC RMS and was tested for 60 seconds to withstand up to 500 Volts. Its ON-state voltage drop rests at 1.4 Volts of DC power at 0.5 A while its output voltage is maximum 30 Volts and minimum 10 Volts of DC power. Its maximum backplane current remains at 330 mA at 5 Volts DC, its output current rating staying at 0.5 A per output. This module leaks 1 mA current per output in its OFF state; its thermal dissipation is about 46.7 BTU/hour at its maximum, 5.7 BTU/hour at its minimum, and it dissipates a maximum of 13.7 Watts of power and minimum of 1.7 Watts.

The 1771-OBNK has four normal blow fuses of 4.0 A, 250 Volts (one per group of outputs).
