1771-OD16K

The Allen Bradley 1771-OD16K is a rack-mountable Isolated AC Output Module with a smooth conformal coating. It can be placed at an altitude of up to 2000 meters without derating and have been equipped with status indicator lights. The panel’s front has an active green indicator, a fuse blown indicator in red, and sixteen status indicators also in red.

Similarly to other parts in the series, the 1771-OD16K should be accompanied by the I/O 1771-A1B or A4B chassis or higher. It contains 16 total outputs with a voltage rating ranging between 74 Volts and 138 Volts of AC power; its operating frequency can be adjusted between 47 and 63 Hertz. With a power dissipation range between one and thirteen Watts, a thermal dissipation of 3.4 to 44.4 BTU/Hour and a maximum backplane current of 200 mA, this unit can reach temperatures of 140 degrees Fahrenheit from freezing (32 degrees Fahrenheit); while in storage, this unit can resist temperatures as low as -40 degrees and as high as 185 degrees Fahrenheit. Its non-condensing relative humidity range is between 5 and 95%. Its operating vibration at 10 to 500 Hertz is about 2 G, its operating shock being around 30 G.

The 1771-OD16K unit should not be used in environments that surpass the standard Pollution Level Industrial Environments 2, in Excessive Category II Applications. For safety precautions, ensure that all power sources have been disconnected from the module before making wiring connections.
