1771-ON

The Allen-Bradley 1771-ON PLC 5 Digital Output Module has 8 fused outputs fitted onto any slot of the 1771 I/O chassis, and it is keyed into the backplane through a connection between the connection bans between pins 4 and 6 and pins 12 and 14. Its operational voltage ranges between 20 and 30V AC at 47 – 63 Hz, with 24V AC nominal voltage at 50-60Hz, and the maximum output current on each output is 1.5A, with a total current load which must not exceed 6A for the module. The 1771-ON has a 4A (10msec) current surge for both the outputs and the module, and the minimum load required for the module to stay ON is 100mA per output at 24V AC (60Hz).

The 1771-ON module has a maximum voltage loss of 2V DC at 100mA in its ON-state, and the maximum leakage current in the ON-state is 4mA per output at 30V AC. It has a maximum output signal delay time of 1ms for ON and 8.3ms for OFF at 60Hz, and it dissipates 45.1 BTU/hr heat when operational. The 1771-ON requires a backplane current of 225mA at 5V DC (+ 5%) and provides a voltage isolation that meets UL and CSA standards. Each output is fused with a 250V, 2A Normal Blow fuse, and it comes with a field wiring arm with a wiring screw torque of 7 x 9 inch-pounds. The 1771-ON module is CSA, UL, and CE-certified and it can function without de-rating at a temperature range between 32 and 140 oF, at 5-95% non-condensing relative humidity.
