1771-OQ16K

The Allen-Bradley 1771-OQ16K is a conformal-coated DC Isolated Output Module rated at 24V. Its encapsulating polymeric films boost protection from damage due to contaminants and humidity. It comes with 16 outputs per module with a voltage rating of 10-32V DC. It has a sink or source type category with a minimum output current of 5mA and maximum of 2A per output; and 32A per module at 0-45°C. Its maximum surge current is 4A for 10ms per output, repeatable every 2 seconds. It is a part of the 1771 Digital DC Output Modules for PLC-5 Systems. Each output of the 1771-OQ16K DC Isolated Module is individually-fused. Access these fuses through the hole at the side of the component cover. The 1771-OQ16K comes with 18 indicators at the front containing 16 output status indicators, a blown fuse indicator, and an active indicator. It also ships with a wiring arm with category number 1771-WN where wiring connections to the terminal can be made. The Conformally-Coated 1771-OQ16K offers improved performance even in caustic and high humidity areas, saline-fog or salt-contaminated environments, environmentally abrasive and sensitive areas, as well as off-shore marine environments. It is ideal for applications that are general purpose and involve isolated circuits.  An isolated product series, it can also be used in motor control centers that require individual control transformers.
