1771-OWK

The Allen-Bradley 1771-OWK is a Selectable Contact Output Module that features conformal coating. This model is the best alternative to the standard 1771-OW when operating in environmental conditions where it requires protection against humidity and contaminants. The 1771-OWK has a total of eight outputs per module, grouped in 4 sets of 2 with each set having its own common. The output relays have open contacts, ensuring no leakage currents occur in critical applications. Each output is electrically-isolated with a selectable-configuration. The 1771-OWK draws a maximum current of 700mA to energize all coils and power the module. It has an operating voltage ranging from 24-138V AC§ (of resistive loads), and from 24-25V DC. Per output, it has a maximum of 0.25 A at 120V AC/DC or 1A at 30V AC/DC (30 W) continuous current. The 1771-OWK has a typical operate/release time of 5ms (±1ms), and a maximum switching frequency of 10 Hz with maximum bounce time of 1ms. All eight selectable contact outputs of the 1771-OWK are factory pre-set at normally-open operation. These jumpers can be reset to either normally–open or normally–closed (N.O. or N.C.). Connections to the module are made via the field wiring arm with category no. 1771–WD. To set the I/O chassis to accept the 1771-OWK, place the keying bands between pins 6 and 8, and between pins 16 and 18.
