1771-P7K

The Allen-Bradley 1771-P7K is a conformal-coated, external 120-220V AC power supply rated at 16A at 5V DC maximum output current. This can power a 1771-A1B, -A2B, -A3B, -A3B1, or -A4B I/O chassis when it is used with any programmable controller or adapter module that does not come with an internal power supply. The 1771-P7K is compatible to the PLC-5 family of processors and the Mini-PLC-2/02, Mini-PLC-2/05, Mini-PLC-2/16, and the Mini-PLC-2/17 processors. However, it is not suitable for use with the 1771-A1, -A2, and -A4 I/O chassis. The 1771-P7K Power Supply operates on a nominal 120V AC or a 220V AC input source. For an input voltage ranging from 97-132V AC, set the voltage selector switch to the 115 position; and for a range of 195-264V AC, set the switch to the 230 position. This module has an output voltage of 5.06V DC ±3.8%, with a power loss time delay of 13.6msec ±2.9ms (input power to processor disable). The 1771-P7K is a stand-alone power supply module. Before installation, the N position should be set in the configuration jumper on the I/O chassis. It comes with a D-shell power connector that connects to and powers the backplane. The 1771-P7K features a conformal coating made up of polymeric films that enhance protection against humidity and contaminants to meet and exceed industry standards including military specifications for “tropicalization”. This optimizes power supply performance and product life.
